On commence avec Yalcin, de Turquie

"Hi JP,

I'm Yalcin Inel, a writer responsible for prog rock/metal for a respected turkish webzine called "metal-pit". One year ago, a french friend of mine sent me your latest effort Prélude à la ruine as a present, and I simply fell in love with it. After that I've ordered Présages through a mailorder. If I knew that you had your own store I really would like to buy the CD's from there, but anyway soon I'll place my order for the live one

Anyway, after one year with Nemo, what I'd like to say is that you guys are one of the bands which are criminally underrated. Your original sound is really hard to put into any drawer, and that is an amazing thing in my opinion. Wonderful melodies packed with really clever arrangements! Also everything is very well performed. Did you send your records to major prog labels such as Insideout and Laser's Edge??? I think it's impossible for them not to accept Nemo.

Anyway, I'd like to do an e-mail interview with you in a few days, of course if you accept it, so we can discuss these things a little bit further..

Eh oui ! C'est encore Ivan !!! Que voulez-vous, quand on est fan... Votre live tourne en boucle depuis que je l'ai reçu il y a deux jours... Ca groove, ç'est pêchu, mélodique, plein d'émotions et d'atmosphères passionnantes. Basse batterie d'enfer, sons de claviers excellents, soli de guitare somptueux et vivifiants, chant agréable et fin... Bref, je souhaite réellement que vous puissiez être distribués à grande échelle pour montrer à tous que la vraie musique est encore bien vivante et se renouvelle encore et toujours. J'attends avec impatience le Quatrième album... Bonne chance pour la suite et si vous trouvez des concerts vers la Franche-comté (bonne chance, je sais de quoi je cause !), je me ferai un plaisir de vous héberger (on fera un boeuf !!!) Bon vent bon flair...

I have received your live cd. It's really good! I like to explore prog music from all around the world and with pure honesty i can say that Nemo is a top-class group in today's prog world. All my favourite contemporary groups are more obscure and I do not give much value to the most known ones (actually this is quite true to my interest in the seventies prog scene as well). I also like the other contemporary French groups Minimum Vital, Taal and Nil. The new french prog scene has suddenly become one of the most interesting ones. And partly that is because of Nemo!
